Steph Curry's Daughter

Riley Elizabeth Curry is Steph Curry's daughter and the eldest of his three children, Ryan, Canon, and Caius Curry. The American Golden State Warriors point guard shares them with his wife Ayesha Curry, whom he married in 2011.

Given who Riley's father is, it's no surprise that she's in the spotlight and people have been inquisitive about her life and everything in between. Here's all to know.

Who Is Steph Curry's daughter, Riley Elizabeth Curry?

The eldest child and daughter of Steph and Ayesha Curry's 4 children, Riley Elizabeth was born on July 19, 2012, and was raised in the United States of America. The 12-year-old was born a year after her parents got hitched and her mother explained that being a first time was quite difficult.

Ayesha also added that she struggled to balance between pushing her career and raising a child. However, since the launching of her recipe blog, she has figured out how just to be a perfect wife and mother. Needless to say, she also gets busy as a businesswoman, chef, restaurateur, and actress.

Similarly, Stephen has had a great time juggling between fatherhood and his NBA career.

Being born to the NBA star immediately placed Riley in the spotlight and it wasn't long before everything about her also caught the public's interest. At the age of two, she stole the show at a post-game press conference by just yawning and making the sassy remark "You're too loud, Daddy". Since then, she has continued to gain the media's interest.

She isn't the only child of her Parent's Union

As earlier hinted, Riley is the eldest child of Steph and Ayesha who have spent over a decade as a couple. The pair got married on June 30, 2011, several years after they first met at a church in North Carolina as teenagers.

Following their marriage and the birth of their first child, the couple extended their family and welcomed three more children; Ryan, Canon, and Caius Curry.

Ryan Carson Curry

Steph and Ayesha's second child and daughter was born on July 10, 2015, and she's 9 years old. She has also been in the media face since her mother announced her birth on Instagram using a photo of Riley holding her and the caption, "I'm wayyyyy up I feel Blessed! God is Great,".

Like her elder sister and mother, Ryan joins the family to cheer her dad during his playoff runs and spends time with him on the basketball court. While she is still figuring out if sport is her thing or not, it would be no surprise if she decides to take that path.

Aside from sports, Ryan has also shown interest in the musical industry and has long enrolled as a member of Beyonce's Beyhive just like her mother and elder sister. In 2020, Ayesha shared a video of her two daughters rocking out to Beyonce's song "Already" with the caption "A little Saturday inspiration. My little girls. You love Black is King,"

Canon Curry

The couple's third child and first son is Canon W. Jack Curry. He was born on July 2, 2018, and he's 6 years old. Speaking about his name, Ayesha hinted that they had long decided on a name before he was born. She added, "We had his name picked out and then we had another girl's name picked out that we didn't end up using for Riley, but Canon always stuck with us."

Ayesha would further explain that Canon's name is of French origin and it means young wolf. As such, it was easy for them to come to terms with it since they considered their family a wolf pack.

As for a career path, we are already tempted to say, that Canon may just take after his father. When he was 4, his mother posted a video of him dribbling two basketballs at once which gave a peep at his impressive skills. It would be no surprise if he takes on the .... like his father and delves into the sports industry.

Aside from his athletic skills, his father has hinted that Canon is the most social of all his children while his mother says "he is a boy's boy". According to him, when his son started pre-K, he thought of it as middle school and was later thinking he was the mayor of his school

Caius Curry

The youngest of the Stephen's family is Caius Curru who was born on May 11, 2024. His parents took to Instagram to announce his birth about two weeks after the birth. In the joint post, Steph and Ayesha said "He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!"

While Caius' birth may come as a surprise to several family members, friends, and fans, the couple shared that they had both planned for it and wanted it around the NBA's player 2024 Paris Olympics debut. The family was later sported at the games with Ayesha holding baby Caius.

What is Steph's Daughter Riley up to at the moment?

At 12, Riley has quite an interesting personality and seems to have everything just going in a great way. She shares her time between cheering her father up during games, playing volleyball, spending time at the Beyounce's Beehive, and also developing her cooking skills thanks to her mother who excels in her rights as a chef among other things.

Even though Riley seems to possess her family's athletic talent, her father has noted that there's no pressure for his children to follow in basketball's footsteps.
