Controversy Surrounding the Demise of Easy-E


Eazy-E was a rap star who was involved in some gangster movement while he was alive. His death in 1995 was said to be from AIDS-related pneumonia, however, his children believe that the truth about the death of their father is yet to be uncovered.


One of his daughter’s Erin has stated that she and her Mother Tracy Jernagin have never believed the story about her father’s death and they are set to discover the hidden truth. She began the production of a documentary titled, Ruthless Scandal: No more Lies, with the aim of discovering the secrets of his death, his music, and his personal life. The documentary is still in the works and is yet to be released.


Moreover, Marquise Wright, also known as Yung Eazy, thinks that his father likely died from being shot with HIV- infected blood by Suge Knight. He made this claim in an Instagram post after Jimmy Kennel hosted the notorious Suge Knight on “Jimmy Kennel Live!” in 2013, where Suge Knight had commented that the new thing was to get blood from somebody with AIDS and shoot someone with it.


Although the theory is highly controversial, the take-away from this is that Eazy-E’s children have not accepted the popular view that their father contracted Aids as a result of his promiscuous lifestyle.


Meanwhile, Eazy-E, popularly known as the "godfather of gangster rap" struggled through his childhood. He was involved in the drug business but later decided to pursue a musical career and eventually became one of the best rappers of his time. He died on March 26, 1995, at the age of 30, and was buried in a gold casket, at the Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California. Ten months after his death, his last album, Ste8 off Tha Streetz of Muthaphkkin Compton was released in January 1996.
